Accounting
  • Controller
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a Controller with strong management and leadership skills. The position is an Executive Committee position and is responsible for all financial functions of Osthoff Management Corp., Osthoff Condominium Association, Inc., and it entities. Duties of this position include:

      • Lead and manage the Accounting & IT department and ensure all standards are followed.
      • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports for each business entity.
      • Ensure financial records and reports are accurate, maintained, and timely, compliant with accepted policies, procedures and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
      • Manage and support budgets, capital plans, reserve funds and forecasted activities and support all departments in the achievement of their financial plans.
      • Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
      • Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and processes and/or new revenue streams, providing strategic recommendations and solutions.
      • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedure.
      • Ensure timely communication to the Board and Owners regarding resort and individual financials.
      • Secure, review and renew commercial insurance, credit card processing vendors and bank products and offerings.

      Qualified candidates must have a BA/BS in accounting or Finance, a CPA, CMA or other appropriate accounting designation, and a minimum of five years of experience including as a Controller. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with the ability to integrate these into a hospitality and condominium association environment having the proficiency to present complex business matters to all levels of the organization. Previous experience in a resort and/or condominium property is a plus.

      Candidate must be highly organized, an effective communicator, a strong leader with high ethical standards, and must be highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Outlook). Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.

Aspira Spa
  • Aesthetician/Esthetician
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking experienced, part-time Aestheticians with an exceptional focus on guest service. Responsibilities of this position include providing various spa skin care services consistent with the Spa’s standards including facials, waxing services, and professional skin care services designed to provide a customized service for our guests within a team environment.

      Qualified candidates must be currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin in Aesthetics, have a professional demeanor, and consistently offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.   • Concierge Associate
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Concierge Associate. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities of this position include greeting clients, promoting and explaining spa services and retail products to clients, embracing and promoting the Aspira Spa philosophy and culture through tours and rituals, attending to guests and their needs, light maintenance and housekeeping of spa and working within a team environment.   • Cosmetologist
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking experienced, part-time Cosmetologists with an exceptional focus on guest service. Responsibilities of this position include providing various salon services including haircuts, color treatments, styling services, manicures, and pedicures designed to provide a customized service for our guests within a team environment.

      Qualified candidates must be currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin's Cosmetology Board, have a professional demeanor, and consistently offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.   • Laundry Attendant/Housekeeping
    • Aspira Spa is currently hiring a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented individual as a Spa Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper. This individual will provide clean linens throughout the spa and to maintain deep cleaning within the spa treatment rooms.

      Our Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper is responsible for sorting, loading/unloading, and folding spa linens. He or she will also monitor inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to Lead Concierge, maintain all laundry equipment and inform Spa Director as to any maintenance needs, and perform additional laundry services when necessary.

      In addition, the Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper will deep clean and arrange treatment rooms to Aspira Spa standards, including cleaning and checking common areas of the spa.

    • Aspira Spa’s Lead Concierge is responsible for anticipating the needs of our guests and delivering an exceptional Four Diamond experience during their stay. This role actively manages the Concierge team as well as maintains the cleanliness and beauty of Aspira Spa at all times.

      The Lead Concierge consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service; leads and supervises the Concierge & Laundry Teams to ensure they offer the best service, knowledge, and assistance to guests and spa colleagues; welcomes and greets our guests upon arrival and tour them on the spa facilities.

      In addition, this individual assists guests with all questions and requests during their stay in Aspira Spa. He or she can balance operational, administrative and colleague needs; maintain and ensure cleanliness of spa facility at all times; develop and maintain standard operating procedures and daily assignments for the Concierge team; and follow department policies, procedures and service and safety standards.

This Position requires the ability to provide a complete range of traditional and signature massage and body treatments which are designed to soothe the mind, body, and soul. Massage therapists must embrace and understand the benefits of massage therapy and provide our guests with an exceptional guest experience.   • Operational Lead Massage Therapist (Full-Time)
    • Aspira Spa’s Operational Lead Massage Therapist is a full-time position that will lead and supervise our Massage Therapist team to ensure they offer the best service, knowledge, and assistance to guests and spa colleagues. He or she will also be responsible for the development of training programs within our award-winning spa.   • Spa Café Server
    • Aspira Spa is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can provide a memorable guest experience. If you are a results-oriented sales person that thrives on achieving goals and providing world-class customer service, we would like to hear from you!

      Our Spa Café Server is responsible for making specialty drinks to order (such as smoothies and fresh squeezed juices), ensuring that requested food and drink orders are made accurately and in a timely fashion, maintaining full levels of food & beverage within the spa amenities, and preparing food orders based on the needs of the day. In addition, the Spa Café Server will maintain, stock, and clean the café; monitor inventory to ensure menu availability; and provide customer service including answering questions on menu options as well as spa services and general information.

Culinary
  • Banquet Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, service–focused individual to join our team as a Banquet Line Cook in the Banquet Kitchen. Our Line Cooks are responsible for slicing, chopping, grilling, searing, and plating food items as well as stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume dining times. Qualified candidates must have at least one year of food service experience and strong knife skills. An ideal individual would have, or be seeking a culinary degree. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. This is a part-time position covering primarily weekend evenings.
  • Breakfast/Lunch Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, culinary-focused individual to join our team as a Breakfast/Lunch Line Cook in Lola's on the Lake. Our Line Cooks are responsible for setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume service hours. Candidate must have at least one year of experience preparing menu items to order, with a focus on plating and presentation. Prior Line experience is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. Successful candidates should have experience setting up cooking lines, stocking, and organizing work stations for breakfast/lunch service, as well as, a flexible schedule with daytime and weekend availability.
  • Dishwasher/Steward
    • The Osthoff Resort is hiring to fill the position of Steward/Dishwasher. Our Stewards are responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of all dishes, pans, utensils, etc., as well as the entire work area according to resort, local, and state standards during high-volume service hours. Stewards also assist the culinary staff with prep work and plating on occasion. 

      A Candidate for this position must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 40 pounds and work well in a team environment. This position requires the associate to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day and involves bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, reaching , and kneeling. This is a part time position, and the ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work with others as well as independently within a fast-paced environment. This position requires availability on weekdays and weekends.
  • Lola's Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, culinary-focused individual to join our team as a Line Cook in Lola's on the Lake. Our Line Cooks are responsible for setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume service hours. Candidate must have at least one year of experience preparing menu items to order, with a focus on plating and presentation. Prior Line experience is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired.   • Pastry Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, culinary-focused individual to join our team as a Pastry Cook in our pastry department. Our Pastry Cooks are responsible for the daily prep for the outlet kitchens. This may include making cakes, muffins, sweet breads, yeasted dough, sauces, and fillings. Candidates must have strong attention to detail to ensure high quality product according to recipe, proper portioning, and presented visually pleasing. Prior pastry experience is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. Successful candidates have a passion and willingness to learn new recipes and techniques as well as, a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
  • Otto’s Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, service–focused individual to join our team as a daytime Line Cook in Otto’s Restaurant. Our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing a’la carte menu items, setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume dining times. Qualified candidates must have at least six months of prior line experience working in a dining establishment. A culinary degree and ServSafe certification are preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. This is a part-time position, and candidates must be able to work 32 hours per week covering various shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

  • Administrative Assistant
    • The Osthoff Resort, a AAA Four Diamond resort, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant in our Executive Offices. This full time position will be responsible for providing specialized administrative duties to support the General Manager and the functions of the Executive Offices while maintaining sensitivity to confidential information. Day to day functions would include:

      • Maintain and coordinate the General Manager’s calendar, schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls as needed; prepare corresponding materials and make arrangements for meetings.
      • Greet office visitors and callers. Handle internal business, guest/owner and vendor inquiries, provide information to callers and/or visitors/guests, take messages, and transfer/direct them to the appropriate person according to their needs. Respond to all inquiries by researching questions and resolving problems, following through on all matters.
      • Assist in the coordination, organization, monitoring and maintaining of Executive Office projects & processes.
      • Draft and deliver internal and external correspondences.
      • Proofread outbound documents and prepare reports and documents. Create and assist in PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents.
      • Establish and maintain key contact and distribution lists.
      • Arrange and manage travel plans, itineraries, and expense reports.

      Qualified candidates should have a minimum of two years of clerical/secretarial experience that includes at least one year of administrative assistance or executive secretarial experience in a fast paced professional office setting. Candidates should have a high degree of professionalism, exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office software, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task with the spirit of service and hospitality.
Food & Beverage
  • Banquet Server
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking efficient, talented, and guest focused individuals to join our team as a Banquet Server.

      As a Banquet Server, you will deliver a high level of banquet service according to standards of management and AAA Four Diamond Standards. Banquet Servers will execute a high caliber of service to clients before, during, and after banquet functions including preparing and set up of function, service and bussing of function, and proper cleaning, sanitation, and return of all equipment after functions are completed.

      Qualified candidates must have customer service experience and the ability to demonstrate initiative and maintain professional demeanor. Banquet service and/or serving experience is preferred. The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
  • Banquet Set-Up Associate
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an efficient, detail oriented, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Banquet Set-Up Associate.

      As a Banquet Set-Up Associate, you are responsible for accurate set-up and teardown of all meeting and catered functions according to BEO specifications, ensuring that all required items are in place prior to each function as well as cleaning pre-function areas on a daily basis.

      Qualified candidates must be capable of lifting, moving, and storing all furniture and equipment needed for setting up and tearing down banquet functions including tables, chairs, podiums, dance floors, equipment, etc. The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

  • Otto's Restaurant Manager
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, detail-orientated individual to join our team as the Otto’s Restaurant Manager. The Otto’s Restaurant Manager is responsible for selecting, scheduling, training, and managing staff for the efficient operation of the outlet; developing and implementing short-term and long-term financial and operational plans for the outlet which support the overall objectives of the department and company; forecasting, implementing, monitoring and controlling the outlet budget and its components (labor costs, beverage costs, supplies, equipment, etc.) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service; assisting staff on the day to day operations of the Restaurant and the servicing of our guests; and responding to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and problems by establishing a floor presence with guests, touching tables to ensure a quality experience and to enhance the dining experience of our guests.

      To be considered for this position, the candidate must have three years of proven managerial skills and experience in a casual dining restaurant with the service of food and various alcoholic beverages. Candidate must be organized, detail orientated, effective in providing exceptional customer service, and must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Outlook) and POS systems. Qualified candidates must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, be able to obtain a license to serve alcohol, and be able to work a flexible schedule year-round, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

The Night Audit Associate position requires an individual in possession of a high degree of professionalism as well as strong customer service skills.

  • Reservations Agent
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Reservations staff as a Reservations Agent. This position reports directly to the Reservations Sales Manager, and will be responsible for assisting potential guests with arranging travel plans while describing rooms, amenities, and rates, assisting the Reservations Manager with group contracts, coordinating group room reservations with group contacts, and working with the Front Office department to assist in reservations and occasional front desk duties. This position will work very closely with all aspects of the resort.

Housekeeping & Laundry
  • 3rd Shift Laundry Supervisor (Full-Time)
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently hiring a Full-Time 3rd Shift Laundry Supervisor to oversee and manage our 3rd shift Laundry Attendants who are responsible for sorting laundry, loading and emptying washing machines and dryers, folding, ironing, and cleaning the work environment as needed.

      Our Laundry Supervisors work alongside our Laundry Attendants to keep over-night operations running smoothly. He or she is also responsible for training new Associates.

      The ideal candidate should be able to:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will train and monitor all Room Attendants, inspect clean rooms, monitor the operations of designated areas, answer radio calls, and deep clean rooms as needed.

      An ideal candidate will uphold our AAA Four Diamond Housekeeping standards, which include delivering a high level of cleanliness within guest rooms in accordance to the expectations of management, and have weekend availability.

  • Human Resources Coordinator
    • The Osthoff Resort, a AAA Four Diamond lakeside resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator. This position contributes to cultivating, demonstrating, and emphasizing the culture of our company and of our resort’s mission and vision.

      The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for the following tasks:
      • Support the recruitment/hiring process by tracking, reviewing, and sourcing candidates
      • Develop and post job ads in newspapers, on career pages and other outreach websites
      • Schedule and conduct onboarding paperwork sessions with new hires
      • Represent resort at job fairs and other community events
      • Maintain personnel records and files—both in paper and database to ensure all employment requirements are met
      • Assist with the coordination of New Associate Orientations
      • Respond to unemployment requests along with DOL and employment verifications, all while maintaining confidentiality
      • Assist in the coordination, organization, monitoring and maintaining of Human Resources projects & processes
      • Answer HR department phone calls as well as collect and distribute department mail
      • Support other HR department functions as assigned

      A minimum of one year prior work experience in human resources, or a combination of HR related education and HR work experience is required. Previous experience in the hospitality or service related industry is preferred. A degree in Human Resources or relevant field is preferred. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager and together works collaboratively to accomplish the goals of the department and of the overall organization.

      Qualified candidates must have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, have a well-rounded background in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a positive, outgoing personality. Past experience with HRIS platforms and recruitment are preferred.
