Accounting
  • Controller
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a Controller with strong management and leadership skills. The position is an Executive Committee position and is responsible for all financial functions of Osthoff Management Corp., Osthoff Condominium Association, Inc., and it entities. Duties of this position include:

      • Lead and manage the Accounting & IT department and ensure all standards are followed.
      • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports for each business entity.
      • Ensure financial records and reports are accurate, maintained, and timely, compliant with accepted policies, procedures and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
      • Manage and support budgets, capital plans, reserve funds and forecasted activities and support all departments in the achievement of their financial plans.
      • Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
      • Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and processes and/or new revenue streams, providing strategic recommendations and solutions.
      • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedure.
      • Ensure timely communication to the Board and Owners regarding resort and individual financials.
      • Secure, review and renew commercial insurance, credit card processing vendors and bank products and offerings.

      Qualified candidates must have a BA/BS in accounting or Finance, a CPA, CMA or other appropriate accounting designation, and a minimum of five years of experience including as a Controller. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with the ability to integrate these into a hospitality and condominium association environment having the proficiency to present complex business matters to all levels of the organization. Previous experience in a resort and/or condominium property is a plus.

      Candidate must be highly organized, an effective communicator, a strong leader with high ethical standards, and must be highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Outlook). Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.

Aspira Spa
  • Aesthetician/Esthetician
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking experienced, part-time Aestheticians with an exceptional focus on guest service. Responsibilities of this position include providing various spa skin care services consistent with the Spa’s standards including facials, waxing services, and professional skin care services designed to provide a customized service for our guests within a team environment.

      Qualified candidates must be currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin in Aesthetics, have a professional demeanor, and consistently offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude. A comfort level with selling spa products, and promoting spa services is an essential function of this position along with the ability to assist with maintaining overall appointment scheduling. This position requires the individual to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.   • Concierge Associate
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Concierge Associate. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities of this position include greeting clients, promoting and explaining spa services and retail products to clients, embracing and promoting the Aspira Spa philosophy and culture through tours and rituals, attending to guests and their needs, light maintenance and housekeeping of spa and working within a team environment. Qualified candidates must have a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours, a strong customer service orientation, and computer skills are required. Candidates must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Cosmetologist
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking experienced, part-time Cosmetologists with an exceptional focus on guest service. Responsibilities of this position include providing various salon services including haircuts, color treatments, styling services, manicures, and pedicures designed to provide a customized service for our guests within a team environment.

      Qualified candidates must be currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin's Cosmetology Board, have a professional demeanor, and consistently offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude.   • Front Desk Associate
    • Aspira Spa is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. This individual is responsible for ensuring positive and friendly guest relations, check-in spa guests courteously and efficiently, process all payments according to established spa requirements, and provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.

  • Laundry Attendant/Housekeeping
    • Aspira Spa is currently hiring a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented individual as a Spa Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper. This individual will provide clean linens throughout the spa and to maintain deep cleaning within the spa treatment rooms.

      Our Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper is responsible for sorting, loading/unloading, and folding spa linens. He or she will also monitor inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to Lead Concierge, maintain all laundry equipment and inform Spa Director as to any maintenance needs, and perform additional laundry services when necessary.

      In addition, the Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper will deep clean and arrange treatment rooms to Aspira Spa standards, including cleaning and checking common areas of the spa.

      Qualified candidates will:

  • Lead Concierge (Full-Time)
    • Aspira Spa’s Lead Concierge is responsible for anticipating the needs of our guests and delivering an exceptional Four Diamond experience during their stay. This role actively manages the Concierge team as well as maintains the cleanliness and beauty of Aspira Spa at all times.

      The Lead Concierge consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service; leads and supervises the Concierge & Laundry Teams to ensure they offer the best service, knowledge, and assistance to guests and spa colleagues; welcomes and greets our guests upon arrival and tour them on the spa facilities.

      In addition, this individual assists guests with all questions and requests during their stay in Aspira Spa. He or she can balance operational, administrative and colleague needs; maintain and ensure cleanliness of spa facility at all times; develop and maintain standard operating procedures and daily assignments for the Concierge team; and follow department policies, procedures and service and safety standards.

      Qualifications candidates will have:

    • Join our professional team as a part-time Massage Therapist at the award-winning, full service Aspira Spa, located within The Osthoff Resort. This Position requires the ability to provide a complete range of traditional and signature massage and body treatments which are designed to soothe the mind, body, and soul. Massage therapists must embrace and understand the benefits of massage therapy and provide our guests with an exceptional guest experience. Candidates must have a professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively. Additionally, the ideal candidate will offer flexible availability. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Spa Café Server
    • Aspira Spa is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can provide a memorable guest experience. If you are a results-oriented sales person that thrives on achieving goals and providing world-class customer service, we would like to hear from you!

      Our Spa Café Server is responsible for making specialty drinks to order (such as smoothies and fresh squeezed juices), ensuring that requested food and drink orders are made accurately and in a timely fashion, maintaining full levels of food & beverage within the spa amenities, and preparing food orders based on the needs of the day. In addition, the Spa Café Server will maintain, stock, and clean the café; monitor inventory to ensure menu availability; and provide customer service including answering questions on menu options as well as spa services and general information.

Culinary
  • Banquet Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, service–focused individual to join our team as a Banquet Line Cook in the Banquet Kitchen. Our Line Cooks are responsible for slicing, chopping, grilling, searing, and plating food items as well as stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume dining times. Qualified candidates must have at least one year of food service experience and strong knife skills. An ideal individual would have, or be seeking a culinary degree. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. This is a part-time position covering primarily weekend evenings.
  • Dishwasher/Steward
    • The Osthoff Resort is hiring to fill the position of Steward/Dishwasher. Our Stewards are responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of all dishes, pans, utensils, etc., as well as the entire work area according to resort, local, and state standards during high-volume service hours. Stewards also assist the culinary staff with prep work and plating on occasion. 

      A Candidate for this position must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 40 pounds and work well in a team environment. This position requires the associate to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day and involves bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, reaching , and kneeling. This is a part time position, and the ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work with others as well as independently within a fast-paced environment. This position requires availability on weekdays and weekends.
  • Executive Chef
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our management team as our Executive Chef. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the culinary outlets of the resort and ensuring the quality and service is maintained throughout our six kitchens. The Executive Chef is responsible for maximizing the productivity of the kitchen and staff while elevating each culinary outlet, through development, mentoring and training. This position will work closely with each outlet Chef, overseeing labor costs, assisting with menu and recipe design, costing and kitchen sanitation. The Executive Chef reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director and interacts regularly focusing on creating and implementing operational opportunities and identifying and resolving operational challenges. The Executive Chef maintains a high level of standards in regards to service and food quality, embracing and executing farm to table concepts and striving for excellence in all the culinary outlets.

      To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a culinary degree with a minimum of seven years varied and progressive experience in all aspects of dining to include fine dining, banquet production, and casual dining. Experience in training, leading, and managing others is required, as is experience working in a multi-outlet property. Excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of the importance of exceptional customer service, both internally and externally are also required of applicants for this position.

  • Lola's Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, culinary-focused individual to join our team as a Line Cook in Lola's on the Lake. Our Line Cooks are responsible for setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume service hours. Candidate must have at least one year of experience preparing menu items to order, with a focus on plating and presentation. Prior Line experience is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. Successful candidates should have experience setting up cooking lines, stocking, and organizing work stations for lunch service, as well as, a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
  • Otto’s Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, service–focused individual to join our team as a daytime Line Cook in Otto’s Restaurant. Our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing a’la carte menu items, setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume dining times. Qualified candidates must have at least six months of prior line experience working in a dining establishment. A culinary degree and ServSafe certification are preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. This is a part-time position, and candidates must be able to work 32 hours per week covering various shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Pastry Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our culinary staff as a Baker/Pastry Cook. This position reports directly to the Pastry Sous Chef and will be responsible for helping to execute the daily culinary operations and production of the pastry kitchen under the direction of the Pastry Sous Chef. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for assisting in the procedures of the kitchen and helps execute each hand scratched product while maintaining a top class culinary product. The Pastry Cook will assist in maintaining kitchen sanitation within a high volume kitchen.

      Qualified candidates having a minimum of two years varied and progressive experience in pastry is a plus. The Pastry Cook must be able to pay close attention to every detail and be poised to take pride in the profession and the daily work it demands. Candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated with a passion to learn and develop new skills, the ability to work with minimal direction, and must have a flexible schedule.

      The Pastry Cook position is a part-time hourly position with resort-wide usage benefits.
  • Sous Chef – Banquets
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our culinary staff as our Banquet Sous Chef. This position reports directly to the Executive Chef, and will be responsible for co-managing the daily culinary operations of the banquet department. This position, along with fellow Banquet Sous Chefs, will supervise and support the kitchen operation and production, mentor kitchen staff, oversee staff scheduling, and have a hands-on involvement with preparation and execution of daily events and catering menu selections, ordering, inventory control, food/labor cost, and kitchen sanitation.

      Qualified candidates must have at least five years of experience working within a high volume kitchen, and a current Serve Safe certification. A culinary degree would be preferred, but not required with a comparable work experience. Candidate must be highly organized, an effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service, a strong leader, and must have a flexible schedule including availability during mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

      The Banquet Sous Chef position is a full-time position, which includes eligibility for our complete benefit package, as well as resort-wide usage benefits.
Facilities, Grounds & Maintenance
  • Director of Facilities
    • The Osthoff Resort is searching for a Facilities Director. The Director of Facilities is an Executive Committee position, responsible for managing the operations and maintenance of the Resort facilities, grounds, and watersports department. This position is responsible for directing and managing a cost effective and efficient maintenance program to include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, pools, grounds maintenance, organic gardening, general facility maintenance for corrective, emergency and preventative maintenance work, and other assigned maintenance operations (building renovations, HVAC control systems, chiller maintenance, etc.).

      Duties of this position will include:
      • Leading and managing the facilities and grounds team
      • Providing short and long term business planning and management
      • Coordinating and managing facilities projects from conception to completion
      • Preparing, executing, and managing annual budgets and capital projects
      • Coordinating facilities function and projects with other operational departments, focusing on the guest and AAA Four Diamond Standards.

      Qualified candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a facilities management level position with proven leadership skills in a dynamic facility. Candidate must have exceptional multi tasking skills, vendor relations, diverse trade knowledge, and a strong financial understanding of facilities operation. Previous experience in a resort and/or condominium property is a plus.

  • Maintenance Technician I – Full-Time
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a full-time, experienced Maintenance Technician I to join our Maintenance Department. The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for maintenance of guest rooms and building areas, carpet cleaning, painting, and repair of the equipment used in daily operations of the Resort. Candidates should have work experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry skills as they relate to building maintenance and repair. Qualified candidates must be able to work independently as well as with others in addition to having professional demeanor. Qualified candidates should have a clean driving record, be at least 18 years old, and have excellent communication skills. This full-time position is scheduled primarily for first and second shifts with occasional third shift responsibilities.
  • Produce Gardener (Seasonal)
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an individual to join our team as a Seasonal Produce Gardener. As a Produce Gardener, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our Resort's produce garden including duties of, but not limited to: turf mowing, bed weeding, plant watering, installing planting materials, mulching, maintaining the garden, and harvesting.

Food & Beverage
  • Banquet Server
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking efficient, talented, and guest focused individuals to join our team as a Banquet Server.

      As a Banquet Server, you will deliver a high level of banquet service according to standards of management and AAA Four Diamond Standards. Banquet Servers will execute a high caliber of service to clients before, during, and after banquet functions including preparing and set up of function, service and bussing of function, and proper cleaning, sanitation, and return of all equipment after functions are completed.

      Qualified candidates must have customer service experience and the ability to demonstrate initiative and maintain professional demeanor. Banquet service and/or serving experience is preferred. The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

  • Elk Room Lounge Bartender
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team as an Elk Room Lounge Bartender. Our Bartenders are responsible for providing excellent beverage service to our guests while fostering a relaxing atmosphere. Qualified candidates for this position should have prior bartending experience and excellent knowledge of wines and wine service, beer, and mixed drinks. Exceptional customer-service skills and an outgoing personality are required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and able to obtain a license to serve alcohol. The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule of weekend afternoon and evening with some weekday afternoon and evening availability. This is a part-time position which offers a flexible afternoon and evening schedule.
  • Elk Room Lounge Barista
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Elk Room Lounge Barista for our on-site coffee shop. Our Baristas help to provide exceptional Four Diamond service to our guests while preparing and serving various coffee, tea, juice, and alcoholic beverages as well as serving light food selections. Applicants should have an outgoing and friendly personality with prior customer-service experience, and the ability to work independently. Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain a license to serve alcohol. Prior Barista experience or background experience of different types of hot beverage service is desired, but not required of applicants to this position. This is a part-time position covering morning and afternoon hours beginning at 5:30am primarily on the weekends, but will include some weekdays.
  • Elkhart Inn Server
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking an efficient, customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Server at Elkhart Inn. Our Servers are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience. Qualified applicants will have previous experience working in a dining atmosphere, have excellent communication skills, and be able to demonstrate above average guest service etiquette. This is a part-time position working evening and weekend hours. Ideal candidates must be at least 18 years of age, and have year-round night and weekend availability.

  • Bell Attendant (Days & Weekends)
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a customer-service focused individual to join our team as a member of our Bell Staff. Our Bell Attendants works together with the Front Desk to ensure our guests receive hospitable, AAA Four Diamond service upon arrival, at check out, and throughout their entire stay. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, exceptional customer service skills, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, have a valid driver’s license, and be available to work a varied schedule including days and weekends.   • Reservations Agent
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Reservations staff as a Reservations Agent. This position reports directly to the Reservations Sales Manager, and will be responsible for assisting potential guests with arranging travel plans while describing rooms, amenities, and rates, assisting the Reservations Manager with group contracts, coordinating group room reservations with group contacts, and working with the Front Office department to assist in reservations and occasional front desk duties. This position will work very closely with all aspects of the resort.

  • 3rd Shift Laundry Supervisor (Full-Time)
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently hiring a Full-Time 3rd Shift Laundry Supervisor to oversee and manage our 3rd shift Laundry Attendants who are responsible for sorting laundry, loading and emptying washing machines and dryers, folding, ironing, and cleaning the work environment as needed.

      Our Laundry Supervisors work alongside our Laundry Attendants to keep over-night operations running smoothly. He or she is also responsible for training new Associates.

      The ideal candidate should be able to:
      • Multi-task
      • Work with others, as well as independently, within a fast-paced environment
      • Work a flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)
      • Stand for up to 8 hours each day
      • Bend, lift up to 50 pounds, ascend/descend stairs, and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties
  • Housekeeping Supervisor (Full-Time)
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor. The Housekeeping Supervisor will train and monitor all Room Attendants, inspect clean rooms, monitor the operations of designated areas, answer radio calls, and deep clean rooms as needed.

      An ideal candidate will uphold our AAA Four Diamond Housekeeping standards, which include delivering a high level of cleanliness within guest rooms in accordance to the expectations of management, and have weekend availability.

      This position requires Associates to:
      - have a flexible schedule with both weekday and weekend availability
      - be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day
      - walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs, ascend/descend stairs, and kneel as necessary to perform job duties as assigned
      - multi-task
      - work independently, within a fast-paced environment
  • Houseperson
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Houseperson. The Osthoff Resort's Housekeeping standards, which include delivering a high level of cleanliness within guest rooms in accordance to the expectations of management and AAA Four Diamond Standards, are essential functions of this position. The Houseperson position is responsible for collecting linens from the guest rooms and transporting them to our in-house laundry facility.

      The ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule, with both weekday and weekend availability. Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, walking, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and climbing stairs. The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Laundry Attendant
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Laundry Attendant. Our Laundry Attendants are responsible for sorting laundry, loading and emptying washing machines and dryers, folding, ironing, and cleaning the work environment as needed.

  • Public Area Attendant
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individuals to join our team as a Public Area Attendant. The Public Area Attendant position is responsible for maintaining public area restrooms, sitting areas, and hallways.

      This position requires Associates to:
      • be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day
      • bend, lift up to 50 lbs, ascend/descend stairs, and kneel as necessary to perform job duties as assigned
      • multi-task
      • work with others, as well as independently, within a fast-paced environment
      • be available to work day shifts throughout the week (totaling approximately 24-32 hours a week)
  • Room Attendant
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individuals to join our team as a Room Attendant/Housekeeper. The Osthoff Resort's Housekeeping standards, which include delivering a high level of cleanliness within guest rooms in accordance to the expectations of management and AAA Four Diamond Standards, are essential functions of this position.

      The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work with others as well as independently within a fast-paced environment. This position requires weekday and weekend availability. Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, having the ability to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, ascending and descending stairs, and kneeling.
  • Room Attendant/Housekeeper - Weekends
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individuals to join our team as a Room Attendant/Housekeeper. The Osthoff Resort's Housekeeping standards, which include delivering a high level of cleanliness within guest rooms in accordance to the expectations of management and AAA Four Diamond Standards, are essential functions of this position.

      The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work with others as well as independently within a fast-paced environment. This position requires weekend, daytime availability. Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, having the ability to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, ascending and descending stairs, and kneeling.
