Accounting
  • Controller
    • The Osthoff Resort, a AAA Four Diamond resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin is currently seeking a Controller with strong management and leadership skills. The position is an Executive Committee position and is responsible for all financial functions of Osthoff Management Corp., Osthoff Condominium Association, Inc., and it entities. Duties of this position include:

      • Lead and manage the Accounting & IT department and ensure all standards are followed.
      • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual reports for each business entity.
      • Ensure financial records and reports are accurate, maintained, and timely, compliant with accepted policies, procedures and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
      • Develop, manage and support budgets, capital plans, reserve funds and forecasted activities and support all departments in the achievement of their financial plans.
      • Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
      • Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and processes and/or new revenue streams, providing strategic recommendations and solutions.
      • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedure.
      • Ensure timely communication to the Board and Owners regarding resort and individual financials.
      • Secure, review and renew commercial insurance, credit card processing vendors and bank products and offerings.

      Qualified candidates must have a BA/BS in accounting or Finance, a CPA, CMA or other appropriate accounting designation, and a minimum of five years of experience including as a Controller. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with the ability to integrate these into a hospitality and condominium association environment having the proficiency to present complex business matters to all levels of the organization. Previous experience in a resort and/or condominium property is a plus.

      Candidate must be highly organized, an effective communicator, a strong leader with high ethical standards, and must be highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel/Word/Outlook). Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.

Aspira Spa
  • Concierge Associate
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Concierge Associate. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities of this position include greeting clients, promoting and explaining spa services and retail products to clients, embracing and promoting the Aspira Spa philosophy and culture through tours and rituals, attending to guests and their needs, light maintenance and housekeeping of spa and working within a team environment. Qualified candidates must have a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours, a strong customer service orientation, and computer skills are required. Candidates must be detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Cosmetologist
    • The Aspira Spa within The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking experienced, part-time Cosmetologists with an exceptional focus on guest service. Responsibilities of this position include providing various salon services including haircuts, color treatments, styling services, manicures, and pedicures designed to provide a customized service for our guests within a team environment.

      Qualified candidates must be currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin's Cosmetology Board, have a professional demeanor, and consistently offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude. A comfort level with selling salon products and promoting spa services is an essential function of this position along with the ability to assist with maintaining overall appointment scheduling. This position requires the individual to work a varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.   • Front Desk Associate
    • Aspira Spa is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. This individual is responsible for ensuring positive and friendly guest relations, check-in spa guests courteously and efficiently, process all payments according to established spa requirements, and provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.

  • Laundry Attendant/Housekeeping
    • Aspira Spa is currently hiring a friendly, efficient, and detail-oriented individual as a Spa Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper. This individual will provide clean linens throughout the spa and to maintain deep cleaning within the spa treatment rooms.

      Our Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper is responsible for sorting, loading/unloading, and folding spa linens. He or she will also monitor inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to Lead Concierge, maintain all laundry equipment and inform Spa Director as to any maintenance needs, and perform additional laundry services when necessary.

      In addition, the Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper will deep clean and arrange treatment rooms to Aspira Spa standards, including cleaning and checking common areas of the spa.

    • Join our professional team as a part-time Massage Therapist at the award-winning, full service Aspira Spa, located within The Osthoff Resort. Massage therapists must embrace and understand the benefits of massage therapy and provide our guests with an exceptional guest experience. Children's Activities
  • Activities Representatives
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking individuals to join our team as a Seasonal Activities Representatives. As a Seasonal Activities Representatives, you will work with children in the Summer Pleasures Activities program, which offers kids a chance to enjoy the surroundings and traditions of a Wisconsin Resort. Responsibilities include leading children in arts and crafts projects, doing arts and crafts, and other activities as assigned. Qualified candidates must have experience working with children, have the ability to work independently, be reliable, and have a flexible schedule including availability on both weekdays and Saturdays.
  • Bonfire Steward
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a qualified, friendly, customer service oriented individual to join our team as a Bonfire Steward! This position is seasonal, working between the months of April-May, and September-October. As a Bonfire Steward, you will start, supervise, and extinguish bonfires reserved by private parties. As well as, set out and replenish s’more supplies when requested. Qualified candidates must have previous experience lighting, and fully extinguishing fires, have fire safety knowledge, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, have the ability to work independently, and have a flexible schedule working weekday and occasional weekend evenings, between the hours of 6:30 pm till 11 pm.
Culinary
  • Banquet Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, service–focused individual to join our team as a Banquet Line Cook in the Banquet Kitchen. Our Line Cooks are responsible for slicing, chopping, grilling, searing, and plating food items as well as stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume dining times. Qualified candidates must have at least one year of food service experience and strong knife skills. An ideal individual would have, or be seeking a culinary degree. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. This is a part-time position covering primarily weekend evenings.
  • Dishwasher/Steward
    • The Osthoff Resort is hiring to fill the position of Steward/Dishwasher. Our Stewards are responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and sanitation of all dishes, pans, utensils, etc., as well as the entire work area according to resort, local, and state standards during high-volume service hours. Stewards also assist the culinary staff with prep work and plating on occasion. 

      A Candidate for this position must be able to lift/carry and push/pull up to 40 pounds and work well in a team environment. This position requires the associate to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day and involves bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, reaching , and kneeling. This is a part time position, and the ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work with others as well as independently within a fast-paced environment. This position requires availability on weekdays and weekends.
  • Lola's Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, culinary-focused individual to join our team as a Line Cook in Lola's on the Lake. Our Line Cooks are responsible for setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume service hours. Candidate must have at least one year of experience preparing menu items to order, with a focus on plating and presentation. Prior Line experience is required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. Successful candidates should have experience setting up cooking lines, stocking, and organizing work stations for lunch service, as well as, a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
  • Otto’s Line Cook
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced, service–focused individual to join our team as a daytime Line Cook in Otto’s Restaurant. Our Line Cooks are responsible for preparing a’la carte menu items, setting up cooking lines, stocking and organizing work stations, and maintaining a smooth flow of service during high-volume dining times. Qualified candidates must have at least six months of prior line experience working in a dining establishment. A culinary degree and ServSafe certification are preferred, but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills are also strongly desired. This is a part-time position, and candidates must be able to work 32 hours per week covering various shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking an experienced bartender to join our team at the Elkhart Inn, Otto's Restaurant and Lola's on the Lake. Our Bartenders are responsible for providing excellent beverage service to our guests while fostering a relaxing atmosphere. Position requires the ability to interact with guests, while efficiently taking orders, and serving food and drinks. In addition, position will be responsible maintaining a clean bar and for restocking and replenishing of bar inventory and supplies including glassware, liquor, beer, wine and cut fruit and garnishes. Qualified candidates for this position should have prior bartending experience and excellent knowledge of wines and wine service, beer, and mixed drinks.     • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking an efficient, customer-orientated individual to join our team as a Busser at Otto’s Restaurant. Ideal applicants will be available to work a varied schedule including days, nights, and weekends year round. Position is responsible for maintaining the dining area; clearing and resetting tables and taking dishes to the kitchen area. The Busser stocks bus stations, cleans glassware, and refills drinks. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight.

The food and drink menu both focus on true Wisconsin Heritage. Otto’s serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, 7 days a week and offers a traditional Friday evening fish fry, and a Sunday morning breakfast buffet. Otto’s encompasses many front of house areas including the restaurant, bar, lakeview dining, room service, amenities, patio dining, and poolside service. The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the outlet and dining area, supervising the operation during the shift to ensure the highest quality of service and guest satisfaction as well as serving restaurant guests. The Supervisor will implement departmental policies and procedures to staff members, be responsible for the opening and/or closing of the restaurant, detail, communicate, and implement group events within the restaurant, and assist the Restaurant Manager in achieving restaurant goals and objectives. To be considered for this position the candidate must have proven supervisory skills, 2 years previous restaurant experience and be able to obtain a license to serve alcohol.

The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for maintenance of guest rooms and building areas, painting, and repair of the equipment used in daily operations of the Resort. Candidates should have work experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry skills as they relate to building maintenance and repair. Qualified candidates should have a clean driving record, be at least 18 years old, have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently as well as with others in addition to having a professional demeanor. This full-time position is scheduled primarily for first shift working from 6:00 am-2:30 pm and every other weekend in rotation.     • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Grounds Crew as a Groundskeeper. This position is seasonal, and our Groundskeeper helps maintain the maintenance of our resort’s grounds, parking lots, and gardens, as our Grounds Crew creates and maintains an aesthetic appeal for the resort. Qualified candidates must have experience using the irrigation systems, and various types of lawn and turf equipment for landscape, hardscape, and turf maintenance.     • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Grounds Crew as a Produce Gardener. As a Produce Gardener, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our Resort’s produce garden including duties of, but not limited to: assist in planning out garden crops, bed weeding, plant watering, installing planting materials, mulching, maintaining the garden, turf mowing, harvesting, and snow removal. As a Watersports Crew member, you will engage with customers, provide boat tours, share stories and the history of the Elkhart Lake community.   • Bell Attendant
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a customer-service focused individual to join our team as a member of our Bell Attendant Staff. Our Bell Attendant’s work together with the Front Desk to ensure our guests receive hospitable, AAA Four Diamond service upon arrival, at check out, and throughout their entire stay. Eligible candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have a valid driver’s license. This is an evening, year-round position with our resort which includes weekdays, weekends, and a rotating holiday schedule.
  • Front Desk Associate
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a friendly, professional, and guest focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Associate. The Front Desk Associate is responsible for providing AAA Four-Diamond guest service. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, making resort reservations, cash handling, and answering phones.

      The ideal candidate should have a high degree of professionalism, strong customer service skills as well as a flexible schedule with daytime, evening, and weekend availability. Previous Front Desk Service experience is ideal, but not required. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for a period of up to eight hours in addition to occasional reaching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Night Audit
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a guest-orientated individual to join our Front Office team as a Night Audit Associate. This position reports directly to the Front Office Manager, and is responsible for providing AAA Four-Diamond guest service. Responsibilities include checking guests in and out, making hotel reservations, cash handling, answering phones, and processing nightly paperwork. The Night Audit Associate position requires an individual in possession of a high degree of professionalism as well as strong customer service skills.

  • Reservations
    • The Osthoff Resort is currently seeking a part-time Reservation Associate. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, professional demeanor, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities of this position include assisting the Reservation Manager with group contracts, coordinating group room reservations with group contacts and working with the Front Office department to assist in reservations and occasional front desk duties. This position will also work very closely with all aspects of the resort. Qualified candidates must be proficient with the computer, detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and should be knowledgeable of the local area. Our Reservation Associate will answer guest’s questions and describe the rooms, amenities, and rates while assisting the guest in booking their resort reservation. The successful candidate will be able to build strong relationships both with internal and external customers, assist in managing all reservation sales activities to maximize revenue potential for the resort and implement and maintain quality standards for the Reservations Department.

    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking a qualified, friendly, customer service oriented individual to join our team as a Shuttle Driver. This position is seasonal, working between the months of May- September. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be driving a large van with the main responsibilities of transporting international employees to and from local destinations, controlling keys, and following specified driving procedures. This person will be responsible for the daily operations in the laundry area of our 270 suite resort and its outlets. Job requirements include having a flexible work schedule, including weekends, proven management skills, and scheduling to meet the needs of the resort. Experience in a commercial laundry facility is preferred, but not required.   • Room Attendant/Housekeeper - Weekends
    • The Osthoff Resort is seeking friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and guest focused individuals to join our team as a Room Attendant/Housekeeper. The Osthoff Resort's Housekeeping standards, which include delivering a high level of cleanliness within guest rooms in accordance to the expectations of management and AAA Four Diamond Standards, are essential functions of this position.

      The ideal candidate should be able to multi-task and work with others as well as independently within a fast-paced environment. This position requires weekend, daytime availability. Requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, having the ability to be on his or her feet for up to 8 hours each day, bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, ascending and descending stairs, and kneeling.
