Around Elkhart Lake
Sheboygan County has become one of the top golf destinations in the world. Whistling Straits was host to the 2004, 2010, and 2015 PGA Championships, as well as the 2021 Ryder Cup. Blackwolf Run was host to the 1998 and 2012 US Women’s Open. We also have The Bull at Pinehurst Farms, which is the only Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in the state.
Located adjacent to The Osthoff Resort, this 80-year-old, 27-hole course (pictured above) takes advantage of its natural Kettle Moraine setting. Quit Qui Oc Golf Club offers a complete Pro Shop and golf instruction by PGA professionals.

Crystal Lake Golf Course | 2 miles
Crystal Lake Golf Course is a 4,300-yard, par 65, 18-hole executive course set in the Northern Kettle Moraine. This course takes full advantage of the natural rolling hills, native forestry, and Mullet River winding throughout. Par 3s range from 108 to 210 yards, while Par 4s range from 235 to 360 yards.

Evergreen Golf Course is a municipally owned, 9-hole short course that’s open to the public. Amenities include a driving range, club rentals, pull carts and golf carts.

For a unique Elkhart Lake golf experience, head to Sunset Hills Golf Course & Driving Range. This fully irrigated course was built by Ed Kirchenwitz of Sheboygan. It’s located on the beautiful Sheboygan River, which is visible from eight of the nine holes.

Whistling Straits Golf Course | 17 miles
Designed by Pete Dye and host of the 2004, 2010 and 2015 PGA Championships as well as the 2021 Ryder Cup, Whistling Straits offers two courses: the Straits Course sculpted along the Lake Michigan shoreline, and the Irish Course situated just inland.

The Bull is located near the picturesque towns of Sheboygan Falls and Kohler. The Bull features a stunning variety of risk-reward holes that blend seamlessly with the surrounding wetlands, woodlands, and rivers across its 400 acres—creating an unforgettable golfing experience.

Blackwolf Run, located within the beautiful Destination Kohler, offers 36 holes of award-winning championship golf across two stunning courses, both masterfully designed by Pete Dye. In addition to the River Course and Meadow Valleys, golfers can enjoy The Baths—a family-friendly 10-hole par-3 course and a 2-acre putting course—perfect for players of all skill levels.

This scenic, 18-hole course is carved through woodlands and wetlands and features a lot of elevation changes. Although only 6,200 yards from the back tees, Autumn Ridge places a premium on accuracy and plays more difficult than the yardage indicates.
